This is gonna be a pretty isolated post... with no photos.
Arrgh I really post less nowadays, one reason being there are no photos. In fact I hardly bring my digicam out now because it is so bulky and heavy. So I hardly take photos. So I hardly post. I think I am gonna get myself a new slim digicam soon, but I want a new HP too. But I have limited funds, so do u think I should get a new cam or HP? Or a HP with a good cam? But that still doesn't beat having a real camera. Aaaaah...
CNY is generally ok... the usual boring relative visiting. Some MJ sessions here and there, with h14 peepz @ my place. And my mum never gave pq n yk ang bows, coz CY who came earlier jokingly said "Oh the husband and wife not here yet" and my mum took it seriously! Haha. And I played MJ with my uncle for the first time too... Expert sia.
Had our annual army gathering too, but the turnout was abit sad, even though the response was generally "hot" according to cck. Played 21 points at old ps's home, where we were sorta informed of our tentative reservist dates. Which seemed to be during my leave period. OMG. I was hoping for reservist during my shit job where I can take leave, not during my block leave period lor.

Happy Piggy year to all!
Have been going on some shopping these days but haven't really bought a lot. There was this adidas shirt that caught my eye a few months ago, and I just thought of it again. But can't find it now...
There's this O Tiger shoes that looks real cool. But it's the last pair and dun have my size...
There's this biz shirt that looks nice and loud on the shelf, but looks like pyjamas on me...
There's this G-star jeans that fits me perfectly. But... I'm not going to spend sooo much on a pair of jeans...
There's this Vincy 泳儿's 2nd album 《爱如雪》that I am looking for, but HMV said it was sold out since they brought in last week...!!
So unfruitful! Why can't the malls open later on Fri evenings and Sat?? I even forgot to cut my hair lor and then I dun feel like paying more a week before CNY.
Once again, may everyone HUAT AH!!!
Oh... my mum found a MJ set while spring cleaning! But... the MJ set has no animals one! I saw flowers, I saw HUAT, but didn't see the cat, mouse, caterpillar and cock. According to my mum, animals were not that popular then... Hmmm...
But at least, the MJ table seems to be still working! Heh! *hint*

I'm stilll alive!
Havent come here for a long time, not really because i'm busy. On the contrary, this is a heaven job i am in now when i dun really do much OT. But sometimes, i log in here and then *blank*. Nothing to write lor...
Just some updates...
- Pete's Place at Hyatt Hotel... the buffet just doesn't seem very worth it. The variety's so limited! No doubt, there is quality, but quantity also important. I dun want 10 bowls of shark fin, i want shark fin + abalone + top grade durian paste + top grade chocolate + ....
Eh they dun serve shar fins and abalone la, just ana analogy... Overall, not my cup of tea.
- My client's place @ Chinatown, and coincidentally, downstairs is the famous Jin Fu Yuan bak kwa shop. And we'll see long queues there during lunch time. Wonder how much profit bak kwa sellers make during this period...
And i lunch frequently at Hong Lim now, where there're lotsa nice famous food too, and some stalls have consistently long queues...
My new ambition is to go into the F&B someday! Let's see...

- Is it just me, or do all newbies working people feel this way, that CNY seems to be here so suddenly, worse than in our final year. I haven't cut my hair and prices have risen, haven't bought new working clothes, haven't got time for a decent suntan, haven't got time to mj, meet up, etc etc...
And then CNY will be coming in a few days?? Arrrgh!

Whee me was on MC on friday! Down with a horrible running nose since wed, and on thurs, my sup told me to see a doc and take MC... But it's sunday now, and my running nose is still running. Believe or not, I went swimming on fri (MC day, but sianz, no sun!) and gym on sat! Better dun let my sup and snr know... Hah!
The CNY atmosphere is here! Especially felt, coz my client place is in Chinatown, and 933 been playing CNY tunes every now and then (the one by duo mei mei, seriously, isn't very nice...) Have u done ur CNY shopping?? Have u done ur spring cleaning?? Has ur family prepared the CNY goodies like bak gua??
Pardon me for being suaku, but i really didn't know a can of abalone can cost around $50. I saw a few cans of New Moon at around $15, and i thought they were already quite exp when buying them, until I went out of the supermarket and saw a New Moon booth, where they were selling the real premium abalone at about $50/can. Arrrgh! I bought 2 cans of lousy abalone instead!
CNY! Yay!
