Arrrgh... I hate this feeling. Supposed to meet up with a friend, then in the end, dunno got meet up a not... then he never picks up my call, and takes like 2 hrs to reply to a sms?? Such happenings make u wonder why people hold handphones in the first place... Grrrrr hahaha...

It's the GSS! Great Singapore Sale! I have to get my clothes for PA next sem break... It has been pretty interesting reading some if my friends' n my friends' friends' encounters in their PA. I can't say I am looking forward to it or am excited about it, just that when the time comes, it will be the prelude to a new chapter of my life.

Time flies ah? Year 3 aka Final Year... whew a rollar coaster uni life! We'll soon be riding through the final stage of this rollar coaster and let us enjoy the thrills of projects n discussions n quizzes before it comes to a halt, sooner than we can blink our eyes!

THE JERK

Am I such a jerk
To just leave and bid you goodbye
Maybe I have always been a jerk
In your eyes, all this time

You complained I am a nerd
When I cannot please you right
And that I only cared about work
When I forgot to smsed you goodnight

Your face used to perk
Upon my silly little surprises
Now I can only see hurt
In the beam of the moonlight

All the stains and dirt
Has accumulated over our fights
No longer a need for sweet words
They can no longer make our love bright

"Give in to her"
Your friends told me to apologise
If only it were
That I'm always wrong, you're always right

A torn and stained shirt
Has the rubbish bin as its ending plight
No one will wear it again
Like no one will talk about our love again

Maybe I wouldn't be a jerk
If I had left you earlier, right?
And now, I'm no longer a jerk
'Cause we can now have our own freedom to fly

Kinda suaku... But it is recently when I know Corrinne May... Yepz heard of her "Fly Away" before, but it is only recently when I read of her latest CD's reviews that I took notice...

Love "Safe In A Crazy World"! Her voice is wonderful, and her songs bring out the other side of me. I dunno which other side, but they just strike a chord in my heart, or rather, several chords. The songs in this album is just like the CD title, giving me the feeling to escape from this world. They make me feel comfortable, as if I am in my own paradise.

Many times when we are listening to a new CD or song, the place we are in and the time plays a part too. Listening to a new sentimental album on a hot afternoon on a crowded, stuffy and noisy bus would not help us enjoy the album, and it may spoil our first impression of the album. And sometimes I do that because after buying a new CD, I'll want to rip it open asap and plug in my earphones. Also, our emotions will influence the ratings of the album too... And sometimes outside reviews, the CD paper quality, the number of freebies...

I guess the real songs are those that can bring one to one's dreams... Every song is a precious work of gem to the author, but sometimes, not everyone can appreciate the gem. Some may just prefer commercialized gold, some prefer plain crystals, others want only rare diamonds.
Sometimes, I wish I can have the gift of creating, moulding and refining gems...

I realised NBS has no more electives from Econs coz Econs is a new school now, not under under NBS liao i think... The only economics subjects left are yr 3 ones, and the prerequisites r not met for most ACC students...

And every other subject seem to be clashing with my cores for exam dates...

Subjects out of the range so far:

  • BA219 PRINCIPLES OF RISK & INS ( X AA205)
  • BF218 INTL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ( X AB311)
  • BC203 SYSTEMS ANALYSIS & DESIGN ( X AA205)

Oh well on 2nd look, it's only 3 subjects...

Anyway, here are the remaining subjects we can take as PEs (i only list down yr 2 subjects):

Haven't checked for clashing with core lec/tut/sem k... =P

Just came back from KTV n dinner! It was a last minute one... After handing up the recommendation list to SAO, I have an entire afternoon free! Thus arranged for a last minute KTV session with WH & XM @ Selegie K-Box. Sang for 5 hours... =) One of the workers keep reminding us time is up at 5pm and like want to chase us out... But yeah, we boh chup him n continue til 7pm! Ate at PS n then beancurd later and caught up with one another. And now I am back in Hall, to meet up for fyp tmr...

My room is in a mess... My last sem's textbooks and files are still on the shelf, my table's in a mess... And my excuse for not packing now is, even if i pack now, by the time school reopens, it will be messy again. So I'll wait til school is about to reopen before I commence my spring cleaning... And meanwhile, I need to think of how to pack and arrange my stuff this time, for my final year...

Was listening to 933... the DJ was Jie Qi tonight.

Think it was last sat night and Jie Qi wasn't around and Lingzhi hosted it, and she played some snippets from 2300 寂寞有人陪。Loved last week's programme, and all her supporters were surprised to hear back her... Many called back n sms-ed her.

Jie Qi has his horde of supporters too, and his sat night programmes r nice and sentimental too. Well of course, he is proficient.

Still, I'd hope to hear Lingzhi back on the night programme. Now occasionally i still listen to Peifen's one, but the feeling is simply different.

Really, not all DJs can host the midnight timeslot...

Money or life?

Work = Cannot slack = Cannot enjoy my holidays = No life
Life = Slack = No work = No money = Spend more money = Even more no money

I have so many items on my shopping list that I have decided, it is more worthwhile for me to go Thailand/HK and get the pirated stuff...
2 things I suddenly feel like having...
- Ripcurl & Quiksilver Surf shorts
- Levi's new square cut (I wonder if fake Levi's got this new one a not...)

Air tix so cheap... Maybe if i fly there, enjoy, buy lotsa things, come back, it'll cost less...

Today while working, I had not met anyone I knew, but instead...

1. AIA. This guy sorta came up to me and asked what I was promoting. Then he intro-ed himself... He's also a NTU student, yr 1 (computer science I think) and is working for AIA. And he asked if I was interested... At first I thought he was what MLM since he mentioned about making lotsa money easily... Still, insurance...?

2. Model agency. Well there were these 2 guys desperately looking for fresh faces... yeah they approached me (thus the term 'desperately'). And as I further discovered, only one of the 2 guys was running about and asking for tel numbers ("The more the better", he said). The other guy in a long sleeved shirt was like his boss, helping to spot potentials and asking him to chase after them... Poor thing...

3. Shoe shop. My friend and I went to shop after work. We walked into this shoe shop where the shoes are nice and the promotions are great, and I bought 2 pairs! The boss was quite friendly and talked to us, and he was surprised that we are still undergrads. He asked us if we would be interested to work part-time as the Great Singapore Sale is coming (yippie!) and even gave us his contact no. Well not bad, I may consider as I think it would be pretty interesting working in a shoe shop and i have never tried before!

My wonderful encounters on working-Tuesday... woooooo....

There is this chinese proverb that goes “有缘千里来相会,无缘对面不相逢。” Working this few days, I've met some people I know... Let's see who has crossed my path!

Friday:
1. Wendy & Shuming. Both from my aa202 class. Wendy is that KPMG scholar while Shuming was from my group. Both of them are in formal attire as though they just came back from work together... Now, together? Haa anyway Wendy asked how much i was paid and I told her and she goes *sianz*... Think they are working as interns, maybe like smint liddat...

2. Tingting. My primary school friend! Was so surprised to see her! Then i was talking to her for like 15 mins? Haha... She just graduated and is now shopping around in Orchard...

3. I am sure I met another person, but I can't remember...

Saturday:
Only ONE person in the whole day... guess i was situated outside Paragon then, and not many of us would walk there...
1. Grace. She was quite a friendly gal! And on monday, i guessed i knew why she was in Paragon...

Monday:
1. Grace. Coz we went to Paragon and she was there to promote something... Then she said is some family business and she asked me if I am interested in a spa for special discount... Orh... Maybe i should go back tml and ask more about it... haa

2. Yaowen. My sports sec... Wondering why he was walking alone... Where was his gf winnie? Hee talked to him for a while...

3. Melissa. My ex-church friend who is currently a pri school teacher... Haa she said its the exam period now so she can finally come shopping! Then it'll be back to paper markings... lol

4. Isiah. Osso my ex-church acquaintance. Said "Hi"...

5. Hanna... Hall 11 asst hon gen whom i met during PASRC meeting. Yeah she called my name, i was like "Who r u???" She looked different w/o specs la, that's y...

6. 3Sgt (NS) Yee. Actually i didnt see him, n he osso dint called mi coz he thought he saw wrongly... But then he saw E, then yeah... But still i dint see him, or maybe i did, but i dint get to talk to him!

7. Mingzhu. One of my classmates...

There were lots of beautiful people in orchard... Ooooh saw one girl who looks very sweet, very demure and sweet-looking! Even the way she took the bookmark from me was so cute! Hehe... think she is a very nice girl, one look can tell and that's why she left such an impression in me even though i only saw her for a few seconds... No la, just commenting!

Ok i think i might have left out some names... pardon me for it! =P

Sianz. Giving out brochures is a boring job... Although i'm a high class brochure distributor, but still it sucks.... It's sianz coz in brochure giving, i can't talk... I rather spend like 8+ hrs explaining to customers about that thing...

And thus for me, any job that I can't talk on the job, is boring. And yeah, how interesting can auditing be....

8pm n 9pm timeslots... normally people would be watching TV... Yepz me too, and i'll normally be watching SCV Ch55. However, the shows screening on Ch 55 at these timeslots are, unfortunately, not my taste... And its the holidays?? Stooopid ah, when i am not staying at home, they play shows that I like, but when i am at home, they don't...

The 8pm is a 古装戏... No not that i hate 古装戏, but I dun really like this show. Maybe its because its a 40-episode one, and a bit chim, and its hard to catch up when the show is screening halfway and I only start watching it. Or maybe its more of a traditional 古装戏... Dunno how to say, but it seems pretty 80s type, and yeah, my parents n grandma loves it... Then also got 郑少秋 and Weng Ming Quan... Making the show sounds old...

9pm show ah... Makes me quite fed-up watching it... That stupid Ah Dou. The show is about this spoilt brat (spoilt by his that grandma) who is in a filthy family, and he just thinks that with money, he can do everything. Then got his funny but clever wife acted by Guo Ge Ming, and a righteous (n stupid) people who sold himself to the brat's family to redeem his friend's debts because of a stupid woman... Actually the show isn't that bad, just that it makes me mad.

Star Wars is coming soon!! Although i am not a Star Wars fan, but Stars War movie is a must-watch, just like LOTR... Such shows are definitely must-watch!! =P

After meeting, went to surf net... visited maplesea and there's gonna be a last phase of closed beta!! Woohoo! Told ZQ, who thought it was over... Haa... And i was prepared to wake up this morning early to register. But at about 1am, i was still surfing net and i went to maplesea again and registrations are open liao (they said 9am)! Hehe! Yepz so i registered last night liao and so did ZQ... now 2 mages on their way to leveling up... Now i am leveling while doing other stuff... Need to regain my MP always, so i'll just alt-tab to type in minute meetings, and to write a resume... Lalala... no PA super slack~!

Went to the dentist as per my appointment today... Had a cyst of the size of a 50-cent coin removed as the doc said... And no, i dint look in case i faint again (Yep i fainted... I guess its a psycho feeling or a phobia that causes me to faint after being poked by needles.) But, i was really quite tempted to look and take a photo of the cyst. I have had 2 cysts removed to date, one on my leg and one today from my gums, and still i dunno how a cyst looks like (Yep i fainted both times)...

The whole op lasts for about 1 hr inclusive of my fainting time... A little painful near the end when i guess the aneasthesia (how spell?) is losing its effects... The dentist says he's not going to inject more aneasthesia in case i faint again, and anyway the pain is still bearable, yepz a bit pain better than faint again. I have to let my mind wander and think about other things, and i was so glad when the dentist is finally ending... I wonder how much blood i have lost in the op...

Feeling alright after the op, and i'll just carry on eating those antibiotics and painkillers (looks like green M&Ms). There was still a bit of bleeding a few hours later coz when i rinsed my mouth, the water's golden in colour. Now no more bleeding liao... But of coz, the wound's still a bit painful and my teeth feel a bit strange. My gum looks a bit disguisting though, thought of posting some photos of my gum but well, i feel quite *yucky* myself... And last night i even thought that it's nothing one, and even sorta made plans with my frd... In the end, i had to postpone it...

Since i was at home, i packed my stuff. Threw out lotsa old stuff, discovered some forgotten stuff like a gift to a friend which had been stashed aside... oops. Flipped through some photos... Most of the physical photos I have are taken with my army friends, and looking through them always bring back sweet memories. Physical photos are just so different from photos taken on a digicam. Of course, one can always send the digital stills to 'wash' them into tangible photos. I guess i should someday.

Sick of waiting for that game. I guess i should get back on DOTA... Grrrrr WOW is super exp...

Televangelist
You are 14% Rational, 57% Extroverted, 28% Brutal, and 57% Arrogant.

As the Lord as my witness, I swear upon the good book that you are
indeed the TELEVANGELIST! Characterized by extreme arrogance,
self-assurance, and extroversion, you would make a very charismatic
leader (or a very despotic one). On top of that, you are also more
intuitive than rational, predisposing you to a more spiritual or
emotional outlook on life. Thus, you are thoroughly irrational. You
also tend to be rather gentle and considerate of others' feelings.
Clearly, you would make the perfect televangelist. Emotional,
extroverted, arrogant, and gentle, you annoy the hell out of people who
have to listen to the feel-good, intuitive shit spewing from your
mouth. Not only that, but people may look down on you as a
self-centered asshat. So while you are gentle and genuinely care about
others, it is quite clear that you still care about yourself MORE. Why
is your personality flawed? Because you are too damned extroverted,
emotional, and arrogant. So preach your irrational message, brotha-man!
I assure you, no one will be listening!

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted.

3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Spiteful Loner.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Hippie, the Starving Artist, and the Robot.

*

*

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you
could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42%
Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is
close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well.
Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can
determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored
near fifty percent for certain traits.

The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Brute: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hippie: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Televangelist: Intuitive, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Schoolyard Bully: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Class Clown: Intuitive, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Robot: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Haughty Intellectual: Rational, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Spiteful Loner: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Sociopath: Rational, Introverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

The Hand-Raiser: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Braggart: Rational, Extroverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Capitalist Pig: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Humble.

The Smartass: Rational, Extroverted, Brutal, Arrogant.

Sigh... I am still waiting for maplesea to open up registrations... how long...

Every time i come home, i am on a mosquito killing spree... They fly real fast, thus the only way to kill them is to watch out for them, let them rest on my legs, pause for a few seconds and *smack*! I killed 5 today. And i need to complain to town council tomorrow... Or maybe i'll just write in to ST forums for faster feedback...

Your Birthdate: October 4
Being born on the 4th day of the month should help make you a better manager and organizer.
You may be more responsible and self-disciplined than you realize.
Sincere and honest, you are a serious and hard working individual.

Your feelings are likely to seem somewhat repressed at times.
The number 4 has something of an inhibiting effect on your ability to show and express affections, as feeling are very closely regulated and controlled.
You are apt to be much more practical, rational, and conscious of details.
There is a good deal of rigidity and stubbornness associated with the number 4.

What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

Lalala~! Holis~! How can anyone ever complain about holidays?? Those people are crazy...

Grrr... i so badly want to play Maple now... But unfortunately closed beta signups have closed for the SEA servers... now i have to wait for them to either open up their closed beta again, or wait for the open beta... Goodness knows when.... Maple maple maple...
