Time flies! It's gonna be another new year again in a few days time and my PA will be left with only 2 weeks. With 2 public holis, that means only 8 or 9 days left! Woah! But my PA can be quite fun at times, especially when I meet new and interesting people in new branches. Some branches totally ruin the image of the bank. But some branches are fantastic. I love Upper Thomson most, and then Punggol Plaza branch!

I can't stand the thought of graduating in 1/2 yr's time. Sigh.

I've finally done up a photo collage for our post exams celebration at yuki yaki, which was exactly a month ago...
Recall: We had lunch/dinner, and then watched Harry Potter. Then we went Killiney for kaya toast cum kopi!

The photos u see above are all taken at Yuki Yaki, where we had lotsa meat and meat and meat... Well it's a BUFFET! Of course I took lotsa meat... U don't spend money to detox with veggies at a buffet right? And there's the ice-cream cooking, or rather, ice-cream freezing part. It was quite fun to make our own ice-cream and while the ice-cream obviously do not taste better than B&J, they added a refreshing touch to the hot BBQ/steamboat buffet earlier on.

Now for photo collage 2...

I must say, I was really sorry to be late that day, and i was even later than Grace! Thus, I made up by eh, taking photos! We went last Sat to this restaurant at Clarke Quey called _______ (i forgot...). Pity hoi had to leave early. The food is nice, at least mine was, as compared to smint who ordered some funny tasting catfish thingy.

We drank a couple of beers there too. Gossiped over a few people in NBS... You see, we'll be graduating next year, no more chance to gossip about bimbos and nail-polish-changers as well as who is who's bf/gf etc soon, so we need to grab the chance now!

That was certainly a night to remember!

Handwriting Analysis

The results of your analysis say:

You plan ahead, and are interested in beauty, design, outward appearance, and symmetry.
You are a shy, idealistic person who does not find it easy to have relationships, especially intimate ones.
You are affectionate, passionate, expressive, and future-oriented.
You are a talkative person, maybe even a busybody!
You are self-confident and like to bring attention to yourself.
What does your handwriting say about YOU?

The complain post...

- PA is tiring! Waking up early everyday is not my favourite routine... Those Grp A and biz students dun complain about FYP leh, we also got k! Moreover, we have the worst timetable for NBS3 students with 2 power modules. They really ought to give more incentives to us, yet all they do is give us a 2 week delay in deadline for FYP. How motivating...

- NTU top management sucks. Raising hostel fees, by how much? Single room to $240? Hall 3 & Hall 16 even more exp. Heard this through the radio and I am simply appalled.
(PQ said we won't be affected, but really ah? I thought for those affected, it's Jan 1...)
Say raise then raise, why not I say, give me all 'A's and ntu give me all 'A's, can?
Must be wanting to make more money from foreign students right? Definitely local students in Hall will drop. Ooooh and this is so convenient, as this solves the problem of foreign students having no Hall due to insufficient ECA points.

First, they demolised ECA points. Then they raise hostel fees. That's the end of Hall life.
Hall experience? Dun bother, there will be no more. Staying in Hall in the future will no longer give one the Hall experience that NTU so desires to promote.

What's next? Boh chup! Heng I will be graduating next semester. They better not try any more funny tactics next semester...

- Exam results. Getting on my nerves... There's always this tinge of mystery when I logged on and wondered if it will show my exam results... But dun have... Anyway I expect next week...

Oh hehe... Advertising for my bro:

Running out of gift ideas for the festive season? Need to mass order gifts and sourvenirs?
Visit WEMBLEY, Gift & Sourvenir Shop @ Change Alley, #01-07 for your festive spree!
A variety of wonderful gifts and presents for you to choose from and order! Do go there and have a look when you are passing by there! =)
Will post more when I get further info from him!

Oh I still owe lotsa photos to my ntu friends. Deep apologies! My laptop cannot to the LAN modem directly now (dunno why...), so I need to get the photos from my lappie to my PC. Then I will zip and send to you peeps through MSN.

Went down for brach visits for Tues n Mon... and it's better than I thought! Haa... Coz on weekdays, such branches tend to be less busy. Well at least, they were pretty unbusy on the past 2 days. So as the banks closed at 4.30pm, the last customer would leave at about 4.40pm... And that's the end of my day! Woohoo! Can't be compared to staying in office, which is until 6.30pm! Somemore, people at the branch are so much more fun and friendly. And I also feel 'big' there, coz I am an observer there and not directly under them. I dun have to purposely act busy... I am busy. Fun fun!

And thus... Maybe I should suggest making more branch visits! But not for the shorter hours la. I really think more visits are required to be accurate. Small sample size is not enough! Ok that's just an excuse...

And yeah, as for my future firm, it would be EY. Coz, sadly to say, I only got offers from EY and KP. Anyway, I sorta like EY too. So ok lor!

I had to work last Sat, not at the main office, but at the Tampines branch. I hateee to work on Saturday, it means that I only have Sunday to recuperate my sleep. Anyway, going down to branches may sound exciting and fun, but really, going there to make observations is pretty boring. It was better on Sat as Phoebe was with me, but for the next few trips, we'll be going down individually. Kinda reminds me of the Lady's Account job last time, just that for this, I dun have to interact with customers at all.

A little good thing is that I can take a cab down to branches that are far away from my home. But then, for those branches in the east area too, no cab reimbursments! And for those further away, I am only reimbursed for taking a can DOWN to the branch in the moring, but not for BACK to my home. How... sianz. Well, it's a local bank...

Sometimes I like to think "What if..." Like what if I chose my attachment place in one area that is close to my home... Then how would I be doing? Would the people there be more fun? What if... what if not...

Was on the bus when I watched a bit of TV Mobile... It was showing the SEA games.

And I saw this very young gymnastics girl, who was struggling on the single beam. She fell down a few times and was close to tears. However, she managed to finish her routine after all. Later, I got home to know that she is our representative, Nicole Tay, who is only 14-years old. While she got 6th place for the single beam event, she proceeded to win the floor event.

I thought it was quite touching to see her persevering there, with everyone watching her. None of us could really know how she felt then.
