Gosh I am in a pms-ing mood recently, and I am still in one.
No idea, the mood just came and I didn't feel like coming school today. I mean, I wanted to coz I took the bus out and even went onto the platform. But I didn't enter the train and I decided to go back home instead, not recalling there's a stupid 312 1-hr lesson in the evening. So I have to skip it later since I'm at home.
MOB: There's a mobilisation peroid for me next week. Wonder if I would be mobilised? It's kinda silly anyway, they say, to go back camp, sign your name, and then go back home. I haven't been mobilised before so this doesn't sound very appealing to me. If I am mobilised, I have to call up my detachment members to inform them and then dig out my uniform, my boots and my FBO stuff. Then I have to take a cab down, which I estimate will be $20 or $14+ if sharing. Then goodness knows what I will be doing there... Maybe kanna reprimanded for my coloured hair?? Lay out my items, which i think should be incomplete?? Gather around and talk cock?? Then I guess it will be a waiting game until everyone arrives before we can leave. And we can't go and eat with all the stuff we're carrying, so we'll be going home probably. Via cab, it'll be another $14++. Doesn't that sound simply interesting for a saturday or sunday afternnon/evening?
Music: A*Mei's new album totally rocks! It's great, much better than her previous album that flopped. In fact, much better than even some of her previous albums. This album emphaizes back on A*Mei's edge in ballads, aka to back to basics. Heard that she previously decided with her producer for this to be an all-ballad album, but Warner management were apparently shocked. I won't mind an all-ballad album though, since ballads were what A*Mei does best! Repeating "Wo Yao Kuai Le" on my playlist nowadays.
And yeah, though JJ's album is good too, I think A*Mei definitely outshines everyone else for her performance in this album. A*Mei is still the queen!
I heard Guang Liang's new song "Yue Ding" on 933 and I like it alot too. Actually, speaking of Guang Liang, I didn't really like his previous hit song "Tong Hua" initially. It somehow didn't appealed to me but everyone was going ga-ga over it so I started to grow on it too. Dunno why, the tune isn't really very special and the lyrics were what made the song stand out. But the lyrics didn't make me turn my head, maybe coz I can't enter the emotions of the songwrite... i'm not really willing to spread my wings totally open and be a guardian angel for anyone yet. Or perhaps the lyrics seemed too perfect in that there's such a perfect lover, which i really perceive to exist only in fairytales. And although the mtv is touching, i thought the director tried to squeeze in too many elements into the song. Where the mtv is supposed to accompany the song, the song now accompanies the mtv instead. Or maybe, the mtv just dun suit the song. The song is not supposed to be so sad one leh.
Ok I just wanted to let it out that I didn't really like "Tong Hua" as much as I thought I liked it. "Yue Ding" sounds good. But my favourite Guang Liang song is still that song... If u know it, then u know it lor... haa.
It's rare for me to be at home on weekday nights. Need to catch up on SCV! =)
