DIY colour hair, expected, didnt produce the colour i wan... haiz...
As for the aspirin mask, its a DIY mask dat has generated much raves because it is cheap, effective and easy! Just do a search on any search engine and u can find many results on it... Get great reviews from other Singaporeans from Flowerpod forums too!
It works because aspirin contains BHA, which helps to exfoliate the skin. After the mask, ur skin will feel smoother, more radiant and less blackheads! Moreover, it does not have side-effects (unless u eat it...).
What i did:
1. Buy aspirin tablets. Get either the Bayers brand or the Disprin brand, easily obtainable from Unity, Guardian or Watsons. Btw, dun be stupid to use panadol... they're different...
2. Drop 4-6 tablets in a clean bowl and drop a few drops of water. Not too much as it will become too watery. Aspirin dissolves in water easily, and if it doesnt, maybe u can crush the tabs instead using the back of a spoon.
3. Apply directly onto clean face, and wait for time to be up, about 15 mins.
4. Time's up when the bits start dropping and u start sneezing. Dun rinse them out first! Gently scrub your face with the bits and make it a scrub now! Then rinse them off using warm water.
5. Your skin should look and feel smoother and more radiant, and less blackheads. Pimples may also subside by the next day.
6. Follow up with usual regime. If u r using a AHA/BHA normally, u need not use it as the aspirin mask is already one itself.
Its one plus midnight n i m terribly hungry...
Went to toast 2 slices of bread, normally i would be too lazy to do so as i needed to take out the oven, which actually isn't too hard. Toasted one side, den later put a slice of cheese on one slice n toasted the other side. Then i coated the uncheesy slice with condensed milk, stuck the 2 slices together n now i m eating them...
I love sweet things. I remb a few times b4 i coated toasted bread with honey... hee...

I am back after so long... too tired to come online after working for the past few days... only got energy to watch TV... haha
News report that guys are advised not to put our handphones in our front pockets, the radiation can reduce sperm production by up to 30%! Wow... first handphone radiation affects our brains, and now our sperm... Then where can I put my phone? If put inside bag, I cannot hear it ring or feel it vibrate, got some missed calls just now as a result... Paranoid? Better be safe than sorry when it comes to health...
Finally bought a new pair of earphones in Sony today when i was passing by their shop. Was fasinated by the $80 white color ones, but it just seems tooo exp for a pair of earphones. So i settled for a $29 one... Honestly does one really hear the sound difference in such a more expensive pair? But the expensive ones do look more cool. Headphones look cool too but i dun really like them, dun like the feeling of something clipping on my ears there, and may also be too fragile for my handling...

Have been replaying Ocean's songs in my computer... so nice... And i realised that Singapore is the only country where his song moves up the pop charts (Peng You Ni Hai Hao Ma? on YES 933). His album is actually released in Nov last year, but its only in this April or so that Singapore hears him... He ought to make an appearance here!
Went for the Starhub briefing just now... so tiring... Went with ZH (the only non hall 14), edwin, zhiqiang, pq n her friend, yingying n her friend. Waited for so long for the briefing to start, and the person was quite luo suo too. After that still wait for them to station us... Hope my job would be interesting...
Went to utilise my Giordano voucher, bought a pair of jeans (their tops are still quite cmi in my opinion...) and 3 pair of ankle socks. Counting the no. of socks i bought in my ICT as well, i have a total of 8 new socks, some black, some white, 1 grey... And my old socks are still wearable... I will not buy any more socks for the next year...

If you watched the news, there was a wet market that got burnt down this morning. That's the one just opposite my house, heard the news from my mom early in the morning... The new market is about halfway under construction, wonder where the sellers will sell their stuff in this meanwhile... haiz...
Met zq n pq in the noon to discuss hall supper stuff, i was late, n when i reached there, they said that there's not a need for the meeting liao coz zy, our welfare, had some last minute urgent family matters, and since this meeting is pointless without him as we need to discuss food, they said no need for meeting liao. And somemore, zy msged zq just about 2 seconds before i reached... haa... then we went to eat lunch and walked around. Pity zq had to work later, else i'd prob drag them do something else...
Was going through my bank statement just now... POSB deducts $2 for balances <$500, which turns out to be $24/year. This isn't exactly a lot, but it seems ridiculous to let them deduct every month... But if i put $500 in, i definitely cannot promise myself not to touch it... It can be spent easily in a few weeks time... Maybe i should just cancel my POSB and move all my GIRO to my UOB campus account, at least no minmum balance to upkeep... UOB campus card also looks much more nicer than POSB debit card...

Soon it will be July again... Soon all the FOC camps are coming, I should most prob be going for 2 camps like last year, the NBS and Hall FOC, but this time as slacking SAs...
Actually I feel quite sianz leh for the FOCs, dunno why. Come to think of it, last year, I was so on to go for the FOCs. Maybe this year, old liao, last year, i was still below 21 when i go for the camps... haa...
Then also, FOC camps are quite expensive... Sometimes it makes me wonder where does all the money I pay go to...

I am back from my 4 days ICT!! I must say that it was quite fun and enjoyable, can see my old friends once again... I was feeling quite high throughout and behaving like a siao person... haha...
We did stuff, like mortar drills... Slower than before, nonetheless to say, but I think we all are still quite zai. We did section live firing too, the first time for us as we are in support company and have never done such riflemen stuff. But its not bad, firing live rounds! No one got killed btw.. hee... And we also had our IPPT in-camp... And yay I got my silver... I managed to pass my most feared static stations, STB n SR, safely, and my running, if i was 12 seconds slower, I would have lost my silver. Can't imagine how all of us were so fit before, can't imagine I got gold before... Fitness has definitely deteriorated over this one year for everyone... I guess my occasional jogs in hall helped... h yeah, I must mention, I still hate camo...
And we did other crazy stuff too... like celebrating sw's n ray's birthdays with beer n noodles, pity we were mostly too shag by sunday night to do much. Other stuff include locking someone in a cupboard... haa... and talked lotsa stuff too, like educating the less-educated ones on sex and stuff with expert advice from people like mel... Haha!
As for the HR part, most of the platoon seemed to have changed not much, siao people are still siao, dark people are still dark, idiotic people are still idiotic. PC is still the same, we still dun like him much. Sebas, our ex-PS, is now our CSM... phew! We'll all die if we are still inder him! Cedric is now our PS, and life is definitely better... As for the rest of the specs, they also do not seem to change much and we can still get along.
I was feeling still quite energetic on the last day honestly even though i was aching all over like everyone. The ICT was like a relishment of the NSF times when trainings were slack. Although it's fantastic to go home and be a civilian once again, it means saying "Bye!" to everyone once again... Hope to see them once again soon! ^_^

Haiz... The meeting tonight has been cancelled postponed i mean... Now i have no plans for tonight...
I brought my hamsters home from hall last night, now they seem to be settling in well. I gave them a good bath with water and soap, now they are clean! I think i will bathe them more often in the future, seems fun for me and moreover it's good for them, although they dun really seem to enjoy the water. Ha... They are still as cute as when I got them... Like me... ^_^
Yesh it's a Cantonese song you are hearing... familiar? haha... the show's over but i guess it's one of the better shows for the year...
Did u guys check your Yahoo!? Wow 100MB of email storage? Its such a great increase... I checked my Hotmail, it's still a miserable 2MB... but anyway i hardly use my hotmail. Now with so much email storage, i can keep more cute cute emails... haha...
100MB... lets hope it doesn't slow the whole server down...

Good news: I received 2 tickets to PSC show! And it's the type where i get to sit in the place where the light shines and selects people to go up on stage and pick the boxes! A chance to go on TV! And win money!
Bad news: The tickets are for this sat, when I will be having my reservist... $%#&@%*!!! Chao Sway!!!

Went to SIR to update my passport photo... even though i dun tink i will be going anywhere overseas for this holidays, but who knows when i may need it? They no longer remove the plastic strip and replace the photo, nay, at least not for me. They just choose a brand new page, stick my photo there, chop some stamps, and there. And i realised my passport is expiring next year... arrgh it costs $15 to replace a passport, better not increase this price next year...
Euro 2004 is on, and i am not at all excited by it. But on the positive side, since there will be matches during my reservist also, hopefully everyone, the officers, the warrens, will be rushing and soooo excited to watch matches, that night trainings, if any, will be not too late, and i sincerely hope that there will be nights out on all the nights. Ha!

Today and yesterday were less boring. I decided to go home earlier and i simply told the optical shop boss that I would forsake my 1 hour lunch break and go home 1 hour earlier instead. Ha! But it's really quite tiring without a one hour break...
Saw people i know, like people from NBS and from my hall. Also saw Rachel Lee who, from TV, somehow gives the impression that she is quite tall, but in person she isn't. She looks much more better and prettier in person too, and with her were Sara Ann K and a guy i didn't know.
Not to forget to mention, i saw 5 heroes... the Power Rangers Wild Force Team! They are the ones who made my job more exciting, coz the stage is just in front of my shop, and they appeared at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, with children playing games too.
Now let me teach u more about the Power Rangers! Hah! There are 2 different teams, the older one with the Pink Ranger, and the Wild Force Team with the Red (most popular amongst the kids), Blue, Yellow, White (Eliysha, dunno how to spell) & Black (Danny, my fav coz he looks most cool), & a light blue-silver who didn't appear today.
Red gets his power from the lion, Blue from the shark, Yellow from the eagle, Black from the Bull and White from the tiger. And i see the kids go up the stage and do some actions and win prizes... so envious!

Arrgh! Never heat those 鸡蛋糕 (not scolding la, i mean those real cakes, yellow colour ones with a red dot in the centre) in microwave to heat them up... they will only turn rock hard because of the loss of water due to radiation... Do it the traditional way, steam it in a wok or pan with water... Now, i have lost my supper... sobz!
Tomorrow will be working again... I hate it coz i hardly sold any last week. I guess if i get many customers, I will be more happy working. Next time, I think i'll not work as promoter, sian, maybe shop assistant or waiter better. Why? Coz u definitely wun be rejected. People walk into a restaurant to eat, all i have to do is to serve them cheerfully, much more better... Imagine instead promoting this new cake and getting customers to buy... and this is what i am doing currently, except that it's not cakes la...
But since I am stuck here, i guess i should try and think what i can learn... how to bluff people and persuade people... haha... I so shy n quiet n innocent normally, got lotsa things to learn...

Went to donate blood today...
Went with zq as representatives of our Hall's JCRC as guests to some NTU youth blood donation opening ceremony outside Cinelesiure today, haha and Lee Teng was the host... Then thought might as well donate blood... And i donated blood in the beautiful Mandrain Hotel. Didn't faint this time, heng...
Got a nice goodie bag from donating blood, coz StarHub sponsored this time, got a nice n cosy cushion, those good to touch with tiny balls inside... Ha. The best part was the buffet lunch in Mandrain Hotel for the event, and considering that there are distinguished guests like VP of Sg Red Cross, some MP etc, the food is great! And sitting inside the hotel, eating the lunch was *wah* one of the best events I went as rep for my hall...

It's heartening to know that my same-age female female accountancy friends who are graduating this year have no problems finding jobs this year! Some had offers from all PWC, KPMG n E&Y, and what they find mafan is how to reject the firms they dun wan... Great demand! Hope that when we graduate, this would be the case! ^_^
Yesh finally~~ i can update my blog... it was down juz now, at least for my account...
Have been away for these 2 days... coz i have a 2 days assignment, to work for Sony, help them put up their promotional ads (mid yr promotion...).
It's fun and pretty slack, haha... spent a lot of time travelling. The first day was slacker, the 2nd day was tougher, me and my partner spent the entire afternoon in that sole one store for the 2nd day! It's mainly hanging up banners, slotting the ads under the tvs and hi-fi sets, climbing up n down to paste ads...
First day, time-sheet said ended at 7pm, reached home at 7pm... haha... coz the last place was close to my home anyway. For today, got home a bit later at 8 plus, but we got a free Swensens ice-cream! We got the one that is mint, with the mint ice-cream 'encasted' in a chocolate coating, that is coated with peanuts too. But it's pretty hard to bite through, i was so scared that my front teeth will fall off or get chipped!
Haha... pay not that high but then i like such slack n relax jobs!
And oh yeah, i spotted a new Sony digicam in the store today that is 4.1 megapixels and cost about $400. Also got a mini Sony one that costs about $300... Digicams are getting even cheaper now! I need one! Haha... Canon Ixus seem to be still pretty expensive, maybe these Sony digicams suit me more... ^_^

Recently when i wear contact lens nowadays, its blur blur one... so i went to my optometris (how 2 spell...). Nothing wrong with my lens, not very dirty too... Maybe too long never use protein remover tablets... Hope can see clearly once again...
Next week reservist, i better start training again... haiz... dun wan to fail my IPPT, hope can at least get a silver... but dunno can a not...

Went back school to register subjects today... Reached library at 12pm or so... Too early meh?? Haha... i also heard from my seniors one mah, that for their batch, people will go library early and book seats etc...
Anyway it was quite... competitive, tense, gan chiong... But quite an experience I guess... Initially couldn't get AA102 coz i registered it 1st, and the system kept telling me i cannot register for the index... Then i thot is error and kept clicking on it... den the rest available slots kanna snatched. It was by a twist of luck i managed to somehow get a slot...
Tml start work liao finally... Dunno how to promote leh... haha...

On the mrt today, stumbled upon this track in my mp3 cd... haven't hear this song for such a long time.
Sometimes when we listen to songs, we have different feelings at different stages of our lives. A song that does not mean very much to us at a time will suddenly strike us as we move on, and when we hear that song, we are reminded of the times then.
This song, it is not in particular connected to any of my memories. Today when i hear it though, it just strikes me so. So much i keep repeating the track and hear it for about 20 times on the mrt and bus... and now at home i am still listening to it...

I'm here... why did i vanish for so long...
Went swimming today morning... especially wake up early at 9am (9am is very early for me... haha...) Den i swam for 8 laps and it rained heavily... >_< Got out of the pool, waited for half hour before i went back to the pool to swim... Sickening, i wanted to get a tan today... It's most upsettng n sianz when u wan the sun to shine, it doesn't. When u dun wan, it shines so brightly...
In the noon i went out again to Ayer Raja to Starhub Service Centre to change my SCV cable tv set... U dun expect good service everywhere... the staff there do not care about customer service...
Tomorrow will be another day of war... People fighting in order to get what they want, so that they will have a good life for the rest of the next 5 months... Good luck!

OMG is today my job day? Adecco called n told mi to work on sat n sun. Then just now another agency asked me if i found a job, they got one, work on weekdays one. I called back Adecco which said my conatact lens job is mainly on weekends, so i can work on weekdays.
Hmm havem't confirm about the other job as the company need to shortlist people.
Now if i am selected i will be working 7 days a week for the holis... piangz... haha...
I gave the agency a job and apparently, it hasn't started yet... It was supposed to start last weekend but the staff is still in the midst of scheduling, well so much for contract dates...
If only i can start tomorrow... coz tomorrow is Vesak Day, a public holiday, pay x2! Haha... But cannot... ~sobz...
Met Zhiqiang, PQ n zhuyi in citylink yesterday to discuss Hall Supper stuff... Haha... talked a lot of cock but somehow we still managed to discuss the overall idea out... Such Hall Suppers are good, coz need not have too much programmes, it's just to let the freshies mingle with one another... hee...
Our prez may be prez again, PQ say she may be the fin sec next yr, ZQ say he may be VP, ZY say he wna to be commoner... haa... maybe i be Hon ba... it's quite degrading to get a single room and downgrade to a double room the following year, i feel. And our hall quite peaceful one, no huge debates, protests, forum insults etc (coz no forum in the 1st place...).
