At a recent career talk, an audit partner said: 'I was very impressed when the SMU students turned up in business attire, with ties and were punctually seated in the auditorium.'

At NTU, apparently some students turned up in jeans and T-shirts.

On a lighter note, another partner joked that SMU students appeared to have better social skills as they did not leave the spoon in the coffee cup while drinking from it.
