Today i wore my No. 4 for the 1st time since i ORDed... (no. 4 means my military uniform)... Still looked as smart in my no. 4 as before... haha... met mel at tiong bahru plaze to go together...
Was late in meeting mel... y? Coz all the different instructions... wat muz bring FBO, dun bring FBO... in the end our platoon all agreed that we all dun bring... platoon cohosive mah... but even if need to bring, i have repacked all my stuff last nite. Not that i too free, but quite sian of studying, yet i dun feel like zhuo boh either, so i thought, go repack my full pack items lor! haha...
Anyway when we reached there, we were among the latest in our platoon to reach there... Then i realised i cut my hair n sprayed my hair black for nothing... coz i saw ppl with long hair, with coloured hair... coz it's juz a briefing, but this proves that I am still a good soldier! n yeah, majority of the people brought their FBO along, heng we didn't coz dun need... this proves that mortarians got brains one. Letter say muz bring, but we muz be flexible... bring FBO so heavy, so mafan, muz take cab to n fro...
So they briefed about the ICT thingy and blah blah, refreshments not bad, got those nonya keuhs like 9-layered cake, white sugar cake, hum chim beng, glutinous rice kuehs. And there in the hot n stuffy multi purpose hall goes the RSM n whoever talking and we, sitting at the back, talking n playing around... N yeah guys, better dun fail ur IPPT, else there will be a long long RT, which is (let me recall) a "motivational n insipiring programme" lasting 4 or 8 weeks... all i remember is, it's quite long and have to report twice a week for RT...!!! The briefing all ended at around 5pm... long out-processing queue even tho we r the first company. Stupid, the line i was in, the system broke down even without the first person's 11B been scanned... Then later hitched a ride from signal's joel to paya lebar n took a bus home from there...
Actually it's quite good to see almost everyone there... NUS engine couldnt be there coz got a lecture... but actually was a bit disappointed when everyone went home after the seminar ended... thot can go out n eat... but i guess they dun really wan to go out in no. 4, moreover got lotsa stuides 2 catch up, esp for NUS guys whose exams are in 2 weeks time... After exams meet up lor, if not meet up in the 4-day ICT in june osso can...
Will be having mobilisation these 2 weeks... well u all help me take note, if u see TV flashing or radio broadcasting "SQUARE KITE" or "ARMOUR PLATE" inform mi pls... den i would have to rush home, change into no. 4, grab all my FBO, report back to camp, sign, go back home, dump all my stuff, go back hall. Stupid rite??? But my sgt lee say most likely it'll be a saturday, n quite likely got MOB... sianz...
