- Rushed home today and managed to watch the last 15 mins of Project Superstar. And I realised Kewei was supposed to be in the top 24! Arrggh... but they eliminated her. How can?? She sings wonderfully great and she's pretty too. PS2 would be more worth watching with her around.
- Cheesecake market is really good now... Really just feel like letting go to have more freedom to grab a better one. Missed the date of one that I quite like... raaaar...
My body n soul (n my wallet) deserve better treatment.
- I'm suffering from withdrawal syndromes from lack of MJ. Mr Tan is having his exams so we're all taking a break. But I told pq, since he got job(s) liao, then its ok not to study right??
But I shall not be a baddie... Awaiting the big thing in Dec!
- Suddenly, X'mas will arrive soon again. Working life seems to speed everything up. Coz everything becomes so routine, we all become like robots. It's a vicious cycle, i feel so old.

Project Superstar is back! Yay!
Project Superstar was my fav show in NTU days then! It's just so amazing to hear people sing so well and PS for me is like, ok I cannot sing so well and I definitely cannot be there on the stage, so I shall be a die-hard audience! And so week after week, I watch, my friends watch, then we'll discuss this and that! Still remember...
- Initially I'll just watch in my own room coz we are in the comforts of our own rooms. But we'll just open our doors and then during commercial times, I'll pop over to yk's room where pq will be around, and also over to zq's n cy's rooms too. And we'll discuss about the contestants. And oh yeah, they always have maple story on when I enter their rooms...
- For one of the beginning episodes, mi n xm was at wh's house to watch PS. I wonder why we went for dinner in the first place...? But anyway that episode was when the chubby girl forgot her lyrics for the 2nd time and we were wondering why was she still around?? WH even threw his pillow at the TV lor.
- Betted with wh and xm for one episode, when I betted in favour of Jason Tan while they betted that he would be out. And I won! Now the bet wasn't fair to begin with since the loser was to treat the winner, which was 2 (both of them) vs 1 (me). If I lose I will treat both of them. But I won! Then both of them just shared costs to buy a char siew rice for me, I think. Coz I guess they still could not believe that Weichong was out instead (was it him?). But the bet is still unfair!
- Near the end of PS, we just went over to zq's room to watch... I still remembered once, cy and me msn-ed pq to come down zq's room to watch PS, coz watching with more people is afterall more interesting than watching alone. And the TV lounge is too far la...
- Watched the last few mins of the finals in TV lounge. I think I went out to watch "The Maid" that day and then we rushed back to catch the last few mins of PS. And the lounge people went mad and explosive when WL got to the finals instead of JY. I guess WL wasn't really that popular then, to me too then, but now, everyone is ok to me la.
- Watching PS means watching the contestants grow. We see their image on the first day of taking part and compare with the finals, and *omg* a complete makeover. And of course, their voice, their personality and attitude are all different. We like some, we hate some, and everyone has his preference. But in the end, the true winner is one who never abandons what he loves and strives to walk on the stony path.
This season of Superstar contestants are not bad quality IMO... 2 of them have especially left an impression in me!
The first is a gal called Ling Yi. Well actually she strikes a chord in me coz the 3 songs that I heard her perform are all Yanzi's songs... So I guess she's a Yanzi lover too, so that's why lor! Haa. Honestly, I thnk she's not one who really makes a strong impact initially and I may not notice her if she wasn't singing Yanzi's songs throughout. But I'll watch out for her over the weeks. Perhaps she will shine later, if she's still there.
The second is a guy, Le Sheng. I definitely have heard of him before, he's from NTU and is quite famous in the xin yao scene. He's in the same gang with Kelly Poon, Kewei and Alfred, the guy who took part in Impressario, so obviously he sure can sing. Heard him sang before in Hark Music Cafe and he really sounds great. So this is definitely one talent to watch out for and he really has what it takes to bring him to the end! So I hope he does get there!
But the most important issue is, will I ever get to go home in time on Wed & Thurs to watch PS?? Today's an exception. And hopefully I will get calls over the next few days... I am also a Superstar, I also want to be happy k!

My money flies?
1. I spent $40 on a haircut, and what's worse is, the haircut is not really anything special. It's just some trimmings off the side but partly coz I told the stylist to not cut too thin. But there could be more layers or some special effects right... Well at least, the hairstylist taught me the right way to style my hair.
I term this haircut Clean and Elegant. Well that's what marketing people always term designs that are simple right?
Oh that pic... Taken when I went with Chris n Gil to Sentosa last saturday evening for the free Jazz by the Beach thingy.
But we went to the musical fountain instead and were abit disappointed with it. Esp the 2 girls who saw a grander version in US and for me, I felt there could be more water displays. So boring...
But we did went to the Jazz by the Beach near the end of the performance and the performer was much better than the laser shows at the fountain.
Good for chill out. Hope Sentosa will have more of such free jazz thingies in the future.
2. A bottle of moisturizer costs $50. Not anything shocking, really, since I can use it for 3-4 months. Guys do splurge on skincare (and hair) k. I think my skincare products plus medicines cos eh... I refuse to sum up. Scary, but well, they're worthwhile investments.
3. Increased my insurance coverage to the recommended range of 10% of income. Time to start planning. Will invest in the financial market when I have excess cash.
4. Transport. Still have about $600 due to me since Sep. I shall watch my bank a/c 2 weeks after to ensure that I receive back every cent.

My co is holding D&D a month later, and every freshie is supposed to be involved in some performance. I think I am one person which the other freshies might expect me to be very onz on these sort of things. I supposed I could have if I felt more attached to my co... But no. Saturdays are simply so precious to me now and I dun want to waste them by going back for rehearsals. They had one today, I didn't go coz I was working in office. No I dun want to work on saturdays again, but neither do I feel like going down for rehearsals. I just want a saturday where I can sleep until noon admist my busy schedule now and busier schedules soon, is that too much to ask for?
And the dilemna is due to the need to maintain good r/s with other people. It's not good to be deemed as someone who is overly unconcerned with these social events.
But... But... Some things are best left unsaid, despite me already saying so much le. Hah.

There are 4 "有时候"s in the chorus. "有时候" is such a imaginative phrase really. 有时候 u know some things will eventually come to an end, so that means u still hold on to some hope that they will never end.
The lyrics are so meaningful. It's songs like this that makes me look back at my memories... Especially during some 有时候 and then I just hope that I can go back to the past and relive it again.
