Things that work well in Valudollar shop:
- Slippers. I like their slippers; I think they look sort of classy despite costing only $1.05. They dun cause abrasions between my big toe and 2nd toe, quite comfortable. I bought the beige colour ones, maybe I will get the black/grey ones soon as well… haha $1 only mah…
- Combs, I thought in the packet, there were only 2 combs but when I got back and opened it, there were 3 combs! Haa… Anyway I meant those normal orange colour combs… pity they do not have other colours…
- Snacks and drinks. 3 cans of Yeos for only $1.05! However since I do not have a fridge in hall, I dint buy. My Yupi jelly was also only 1 for $1, should be cheap bah…
- Tissue paper. Their tissue is cheap yet good. Once I went to $1 shop and their tissue paper was depleted… woah. Maybe they could sell at so cheap is coz the tissue doesn’t come in a box. But their tissue is really good. I heard that they outsourced their tissue from Paseo, maybe that’s why.
Things that dun work well in Valudollar shop:
- Candles. I bought those circular tealight candles there but they really suck! The wick was too short, and thus the candle could burn for only a while… In the end I have to borrow from my neighbour.
- They dun sell chopsticks. After buying some mee, I wanted to buy a set of permanent chopsticks. But they dun sell! They do sell those soup spoons at a bundle of 5, but why would I need 5? They sell forks but its 3 for $1, and why would I need 3? Went NTUC and 6 pairs of chopsticks for $3! Haiz I shall remind myself to take from my home next time and rely on disposable chopsticks now…

Anyway went swim juz now and on the way, met my hall frd Kaili... She juz finished her paper and i asked,"Exams finished ah?" She happily replied,"Yeah, and today is the last paper!" Wah... Why do comm studies so fast finish their exams... My next paper is next weds... So sianz to study for it after resting for 4 days... Haiz...
